Today clinic was ok i just passed off PE's. I had a little boy scheduled but they thought their appointments were tomorrow so they didn't show up. Well today is the last day of clinic for the semester!!! I am so glad to be done for this year.:)

Today clinic was ok. I got my brother done and he is a 1b and i wanted to pass off some PE's but since that instructor would never come she said i didn't have time to do it. I was so pissed of cause it took so much time just to set it all up!!! Well today is my birthday also and i am stuck at school maybe that is why i am also pissed off!!! One more clinic day!:)

I am way excited I finished my class 3!!! I just have to do 4 more quads of a 1b and i will be done with all my requirements! We have two more clinics and thats it. Today went well and i am excited to finish my first year of dental hygiene.:)

Today clinic was good. I am getting ready to finish up the semester there is only 3 clinic days left! I finish 4 quads of a class 2. That was it for today.:)

Today I had two patients scheduled a 1a and what i thought was going to be a 1b. Well they were half and hour late. I finished the 1a. Then my aunt who I thought was going to be a 1b was actually a 2 and I only did a OHI. Well that was it for today. The semester is soon going to be over with and I can't wait!!!:)

My Class 3!!!!!!

Today I got to clinic really early and got all set up for my patient. I was seeing a new patient and was so scared hoping she was a class 3 and she was!!! I was so excited that I finally have found my class 3!!! I got only one quad done on her but thats ok I still have time to finish her!:)

Today clinic started off really stressful. Last night i called my patient and her husband answered so i left a message with him but i wanted to make sure that she knew so i called 3 more times and got no answer! GRR. My patient ended up coming but she was half hour late. Well i finished 3 quads of a 2 and she is all done so i have 1 more quad to do. That was it for today.

So i really got to get speedy so i can get all my requirement done in time. Today i did four quads of a 1b and i took a pano on my sister. I try so hard to do it fast but it takes a lot of time to clean a mouth it doesn't seem that hard but it is!!!!! Well that was it for today!:)

So clinic today was good I got a class 2 that Alisha gave me. That was really nice of her. I got one quad done and hope to get the rest next week when she comes in. Well that was it for today!:)

So clinic today was good i got a 1a which i need so i was happy about that. I helped Katee out with four sealants on her patient. That was it for today!:)

Today in clinic my patient did not show up!!! She was my class 2 so that really stinks. I had my mom drive all the way from Perry and bring me my little brother that way i could do something. I passed off quite a few PE's so that was good cause i was kinda behind on those. Well that was it for today.

So clinic today was ok. I got another 1b patient and i do not need anymore of those! I need a class 3! This sucks! Well my patient was really nice and she has to come back again but thats ok. Well that was it for today.

Today clinic was good. I had a new patient today and i was hoping that she was going to be a class3 but she wasn't. I was dissappointed because i really need a class3 to pass my first year! It is so sad when you want your patient to have bad teeth just because you need the requirements. Well that was it for today.

Today clinic was great i finally finished my very first class II. It was so awesome. I got loupes so that helped out alot! That was about it for today.

Today clinic was good i had my little sister come in and she was a 1A. I got her all done and did sealants. It was good. Well that was it for today. :)

Today clinic was pretty good. I am getting a little discouraged though because i am not very good at scaling. I worked on my class II patient today, it is the third time that i have seen her and everytime she comes in i only get to work on one quad because i am so slow. Today they gave me a little time thing to show how much i should take on each quad and to push to get it done by then. So i tried to get it done but it was no use a could not seem to get it done by then. I was very disappointed!:( Maybe next time she comes in i can finish her last two quads! I am really hoping i do!!! Well that was about it for today.

Today clinic was great! We did not need patients and we just worked on each other. I really miss how last semester we only worked on each other. It was so good not to feel so stressed! Well that was it for today.

Today clinic was really good i got a class II patient! I only got the OD done but thats ok cause it felt like things made sense and i was able to remember what i have learned. I was able to educate my patient. It was an awesome experience and i am looking forward to getting to scale her!:)

Today clinic was really good i had my mom come in so i could finish her. It took me 3 times to finish her up but thats ok. She was an exam and i did two quads and miss no areas it was awesome. I passed off a PE and took a full mouth on her too. Well that was about it for today!:)

Today clinic was so much better than what it was on monday. I finished my brother today. I got all four quads done and only missed three spots. He was really easy to do. I think that i am starting to get the hang of this even though i might not be very good at scaling i am at least getting use to it. I passed off a PE and that was about it for today. :)

Horrible Experience

Today clinic was a nightmare i was so nervous because i was going to work on somebody who was not family. The whole experience started off bad he thought that he was not a new patient but he was because he had only gone to the midtown clinic and not ever had his teeth cleaned. It took me forever to do his HHX because he was one of those patient that says "why do you have to do all these things?" he should know that we have to go through all of this because of the fact that he has cancer! Anyways prefessor Costley had to come in and help me and after i cried for awhile i finally got started on him and i was able to finish him; so thank heavens for that. Well that was about it.

Today clinic was good i think that i am finally getting use to this. I worked on my mom and she was really hard she had alot of calculus my fingers feel a little sore. I only finished 2 quads on her and now she has to come back to see me for a third time! I passed of a PE and the was about all i did today.:)

Today clinic was good. I took xrays and did not have to do any retakes so that saved me alot of time. I passed off a PE that i was not going to do today so hopefully i passed it! I finish OHI today and got to scale a couple of teeth and did not miss anything but i think it is because they don't have calculus. Well that was it for today.

Today clinic was ok. I tried to not be nervous at all that way i would not hurt my patient. I was taking it real slow. I had to take 4bwx on my patient and by 1 little mm i had to do 2 retakes! I was so mad and then on top of that i had to take Pa's on the third molars so that made me take longer on my patient. I only got to finish the OD; that is worse than when i had my first patient! Well that was about it for today.

Today i got to clinic and was not nervous at all but once the time had come that i had to work on my patient i was a complete wreck. I did not remember how to do anything i was so frustrated. I was going to do my sister as my exam today but when i actually started scaling it seemed like i was lacerating all her papilla. So i decided to change my mind and not do her as an exam but i should have kept her as my exam because in the end i only ended up missing one spot. :)

I was way sad that i had to come back to clinic! It was a good day but i did enjoy our vacation. Today we learned the ultrasonic and the gracey's. Using the typodont's isn't fun, it's cool that they don't feel anything but they don't keep their mouths open!!! That was about it for today.
